Bring your pooch for a 5km sponsored dog walk and help raise funds for our pet fostering project which helps pets and families to find safety from domestic abuse. We’re celebrating the 10th anniversary of this wonderful project which is the only one of it’s kind in Nottingham and relies purely on public donations.

There will be a goody bag for every dog and humans will be offered refreshments – tea and coffee will be free, a donation will be asked for cakes and treats

Rushcliffe Country Park isn’t far from Nottingham and is set in beautiful countryside about half a mile south of Ruddington. The route is flat and suitable for pushchairs – take a look at the map here Rushcliffe 5 and 10k Route

Serena explains how important this project is:
“If it wasn’t for the Pet’s Project I wouldn’t have left. I could never find the words to convey just how important and much needed this service is to saving lives. I know it might sound dramatic, but I truly believe this project has saved or at least
given me and my dogs a life and a future. Thank you”
