Why take on the Tough Mudder Challenge for us?

By running for us you’ll be making a difference to women, teenage girls and children right across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Every year we help over 13,000 women but it’s only with the help of supporters like you that we can continue. Every pound you raise will help us to reduce the harm caused by domestic abuse.

How we’ll support you

We’ll be here to help you every step of the way. We can help you set up your own fundraising page and give you regular shout outs to help you get more sponsors. You’ll also receive one of our lovely tee shirts. And most importantly, you’ll have a real reason to keep going, because you’ll know that you’re helping change lives.

How do I sign up?
All you need to do is register here for the Tough Mudder Midlands and register here for the Tough Mudder Midlands Half. Please also let us know that you are planning on doing the event for WAIS – we can help you fundraise and provide you with some further information.

How much do I need to raise?
As much as you can! We don’t have any limits and so there’s no minimal raise amount. Whatever you raise will make a difference. Your registration fee with Tough Mudder is separate from the money you raise for Women’s Aid Integrated Services.

How to get started
Once you’ve registered, set up a JustGiving page so that you can encourage friends to sponsor your running efforts quickly and safely. This way, you won’t have to chase around with sponsor forms!

Every minute one incident of domestic violence is reported to the police.

One in four women will be a victim of domestic violence in their lifetime.

Two women per week on average are killed by a male partner or former partner. Nearly half of all female murder victims are killed by a partner or ex-partner.

90% of domestic violence is seen or heard by children.
